This past year, the Vancouver Circus School (VCS) was proud to be a part of the Massey Theatre’s Winter Spectacular, performing a set called Silk Caterpillars, held between December 16th and 19th.
Looking back at the performance, VCS Aerial Silk Instructor and Silk Caterpillar choreographer, Meregon Kiddo expressed her delight in watching her students (Brook Pinard, Paige Halex and Emily Reimer) perform.
Kiddo smiled and said, “As a coach, nothing makes me more proud than seeing my students perform. I’ve watched them develop and improve their skills every single week for the past 2 years, and as I watched them perform at Massey Theater, it all unfolded in a matter of minutes.
All of that training came down to what was a truly beautiful silk act. Seeing my students perform for just those few minutes is the very best part of my job.”
Aerial Silk classes are some of the most popular classes VCS offers. To see a full VCS class schedule, click here.
