Vancouver Circus School presents “Every Summer”, a Circa 51 production.
A young couple and their daughter are spending a day in the park at their favorite spot, the “park bench” where the couple met. The wife seems a bit quiet and the daughter is bored so the husband starts telling stories of summers past, revisiting fond memories and funny stories which are brought to life through the magic of Circus. The show recounts stories of love, friendship, good times and hardships with the message that, just as the summer sun must set, it is sure to rise again each new day.
About Circa 51:
Circa 51 was founded in memory of Aaron Johnson, co-founder of the Vancouver Circus School. Circa 51 is the recreational teen and adult performance troupe of the Vancouver Circus School family. Its mission is to provide training and performance opportunities for students that wish to increase their passion for circus.

A message from Travis Johnson, Executive Director, Vancouver Circus School
“The Vancouver Circus School is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this September. With locations in North Vancouver, New Westminster and a licensee program in Abbotsford, the Vancouver Circus School has been a staple in physical literacy programs for “kids of all ages”. Our mission is to provide world class training and personal development for students of all abilities. Our program is a private, family-owned Circus Company and relies on private and corporate funding to raise funds for equipment for our student base. We currently educate 850 students per week with 30% of our student base being over the age of 25.
The Vancouver Circus School is renowned for its community support, donating over150 classes for community and non-profit organization’s fundraising efforts. Vancouver Circus School offers scholarships to students who are unable to pay full tuition. We are a founding board member of ASCA (Asia Pacific Social Circus Association), providing instructors to remote areas of Southeast Asia for students that do not have access to our levels of education.
In order to continue our development we are hosting a silent auction for our 10-year anniversary event. Funds raised will go directly to equipment to further support the development of the Vancouver Circus community.
The 10-yr anniversary event is September 20th at the brand new Anvil Centre (New Westminster’s new Convention Centre).
Vancouver Circus School is currently seeking donations of items/service certificates to feature in our 2014 Silent Auction (10-Year Anniversary Event)
Our goal is to raise $15,000 and, with your help, we truly believe that we will be able to reach that.
Please contact me directly if you have any question or comments, or if you wish to donate an item/certificate for us to pick up.
Thank you in advance for your support!”
